Game Over - And NO Lions

So, we are now well acquainted with Indian Hospitals! Jaipur Apex Hospital - Check. Mumbai Seven Hills Hospital - Check. With Yvette in a death spiral of Weight Loss, Vomiting and Diarrhea we took the easy way out and cut short the 12 weeks at exactly the 8 week mark.

So, no Tanzania, and therefor no Lions.

Of course, there had to be one (actually 2 last) Indian Shakedowns. On the way back to the hotel from the Jaipur Hospital, I paid the taxi driver and as I was leaving the cab, he showed me a tatty, scotch-taped bank note that he said he couldn't accept. Pity for him that I had not paid with one of those type of notes! In Jaipur airport I saw a T-Shirt that I fancied, so I took it and coughed up a 2000 Rupee note. The proprietor then showed that there are more uses for the "over sized tilted screen calculator" - he used it to work out how much he could give me as change while shorting me 100 Rupees! I could follow how he typed in 2000 - 575 - 100 (all those years reading numeric key pads etc. upside down came in handy).

At least we scored on the way home. We had our agent book us Business Class from Mumbai to Seattle via Dubai. The 14+ hour flight from Dubai to Seattle got upgraded to First Class! Yes, Thank You - Emirates!

We took Yvette to the Group Health Urgent Care when we arrived back, and their tests and ministrations will hopefully get to the bottom of the problems.

Thanks for Reading - if there are actually any of you out there!
