How To Make Lunch

Full day of fun at Chitwan - this morning, we got to ride an Elephant and go through the jungle looking for Rhinos. Success, 4 of them! Along with a few small crocodiles, deer, wild cocks etc. After we got back to the hotel and savoured our free time until lunch - we went down for lunch. Hmm, the buffet thingies were not over burners and there were only a couple of people - we thought that we had missed lunch, but no: Today is Table Service, Sir.

Yesterday when we arrived there was Cream of Mushroom Soup for Lunch. There is always non-seasoned/dressed Salad available. Yesterday evening for the 2 Western Mains at the buffet, there were Spaghetti Neapolitana and Chicken Stroganoff. You now have a chance to win a non-existent prize by guessing which things were served up as the Soup/Salad/Main course of the "Table Service, Sir"!? Yes, you win, it was Cream of Mushroom Soup, unseasoned/dressed Salad and a plate with both Spag Nap and Chicken Stoganoff! At least the dessert was Chocolate Ice Cream rather then the "white kind" from last night (which unfortunately turned out to be coconut).

After a short siesta, the afternoon's entertainment was Canoeing and Elephant Breeding Center - this of course should have read: 1 hour floating down the river in a dugout, followed by 10 minutes reading info in a room @ 147F and 3 Minutes looking at chained Elephants waiting to be fed...and then a 1 1/2 hour Jungle Walk. Guess who, not having expected the walk, didn't take anything to drink!? Anyways, we bumped into a Dancing Peacock, 2 Bathing Rhinos, a Sleeping Crocodile and a lot of Indian Rollers (I think).

After Dinner we asked for the Laundry we had dropped off this morning, and after going through it discovered a Hanky and a pair of Undies which didn't belong to us. In addition a Barrier Reef T-Shirt was missing. We later noticed that 2 more shirts were missing. Luckily an intrepid receptionist braved the wilds at night and broke into the Laundry to find our missing bits. Thank goodness, otherwise we would have to find another Forever 21 Store!
