And Then We Come To The Tunnel

The first 2 days of trekking reminded me of Lord of the Rings. The first day had a lot of going down steps (Sam - after Frodo had been conned by Gollum), the second day had a lot of going up steps (Sam/Frodo/Gollum). At one point on the second day I was definitely saying to myself: "up up up up the stairs we go". Also, as a recurring theme in this trip of answers which are not quite lies, but not really the truth either: I asked the trekking guide in the morning of the second day whether we would be climbing back up the steps that we had come down at the end of the first day. He said "No". Technically he was correct, we only went back up 3/4 of them, then all the way up a completely different set of steps which were about twice as long!
I don't know whether Nepalese has no "Y" in its alphabet or the sound in the speech, but Yellow seems to come out as Ello. It took me a few seconds to work out that the trekking guide was not saying "Elderberry" but in fact "Yellow Berry". The prayer flags, 5 of them, include one of Yellow which was also cut off in its prime.
Ah, you come round a corner on the path, see a couple of goats in a stall, pull out your camera to take a picture and then realize that there is a lady showering right THERE! Luckily she pulled on a big towel before anything untoward was seen. The Guide told me that the best view of the goats was over THERE, but I declined to basically push her out of the way!
