As you can see, when we arrived, the weather was fantastic. The trip to a Fijian Village, including Dancing, Singing, General Merry Making and Birthday Cake eating was great (they cunningly made the cake big enough that our hosts got blue faces from the frosting too). By the time we were back at the hotel and had swum a little to cool off, the weather had turned...and in true "Survivor Fiji" style we got dark skies and a Thunderstorm.

In the morning of the second day, we walked along the beach and my flip-flops decided to flip a boat load of sand onto my back. Late morning and early afternoon were spent looking at a zillion orchids and getting very muddy.
