Maori Outside
So, first day was a visit to Hobbiton, or to be more precise, the Movie set used in LOTR and the Hobbit trilogies. Definitely just as good as we expected. The 2 Videos show the Tsunami released when flushing the loo in Auckland, and the view from our Hotel room in Rotorua - really need SmellyVision to appreciate it.

Second day was a day of rain! Poured down while we were at the Agrodome to watch sheep sheering, cow milking etc. then on an ATV round the farm. At least Yvette won the Lamb Feeding competition and fell in love with an Alpaca. In the evening we were all Maori and learnt a little about their heritage, craft schools and food.

Third day was a day of more rain. Saw a fake Rapids and went on a 2 hour detour due to land slides. Did NOT go and look at Amon Amarth as it would have been more rain and fog.

Trout fishing and Glowworms rounded out NZ.
